Vintage 1950s 1958 MAB Paint Wood and Metal Case Crate,M. A. Bruder & Sons,Treen

Vintage late 1950's 1958 wooden and metal square M. A. B. crate box case. The black stamped printing on two sides read "MAB Paint" in black and the other two sides read "Property Of M. A. Bruder & Sons, Inc.". An inside panel is stamped "Treen Box Co., Phila., 7, 58" for Philadelphia July 1958. Each corner and two side bottoms have reinforced metal strips. The crate measures 15 3/4" by 15" by 5 1/2" tall. There are 2 factory handle cut-outs on the sides. There are no partitions inside. The crate displays beautifully with great wood grain patterns. The wood graining would probably be more visible with a linseed oil or other wood conditioner application. The printing is strong as pictured. The crate is in good used condition with a part of a bottom slat missing as pictured. It is a little loose and may need tightening. It has great patina with colorful paint residue in different areas. It will need a good cleaning (or not). It is a great retro mid-century modern item for storage - wine rack, firewood, flower vases, micro-beer brewer, garden tools etc. This item is sold as is and as pictured with returns not accepted. .00 USPS or FedEx postage.
