A cost-effective color video monitor designed for broadcast and production applications, Sony's BVM-14G5U features a .25mm HR Trinitron CRT for 800 TV lines of resolution, SMPTE C Phosphors, a Beam Current Feedback system for stabilized color temperature, onboard controls, one input slot for BKM input decoder/adapters, one permanent RGB/Component input, and data save/exchange through RS-485 or IC Memory card (via BKM-10R or BKM-11R). Other features include a modular chassis construction, Auto-setup (chroma phase), Auto White Balance using industry standard color analyzers andBKM-14L probe, Interactive Status Reporting (ISR), RS-485 control, a parallel remote control, 16:9/4:3 aspect ratios, H/V delay, Underscan, Blue only, Monochrome, and a tally lamp.
