Limited run Greg Lemond “Washoe” 853 Reynolds steel frame with matching Enve full-carbon fork and extras.
This was Greg’s first offering since he parted ways with Trek and it’s pretty damn nice. The Reynolds 853 frame was hand built by
Zen Bicycle Fabrication in Portland
Oregon
(no longer in existance), and then painted at the LeMond facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Speaking to which, while the frame is straight with no dents, no rust, the paint does show blisters. I bought this frameset new with paint blisters.
“It completes a bike that our customers will be happy to ride on their most epic rides, regardless of terrain,” LeMond said. “The Enve fork enhances the way the bike climbs and responds out of the saddle. You quickly realize ‘I can ride this bike anywhere’, and it rewards you for doing exactly that.”
