    Description

    For sale is this original Lowe Brothers Paint sign.
    This sign measures 23 W x 16 H and is single sided.
    I believe this is porcelain but please ask any questions on composition.
    Some unique features are the size is smaller than the many others
    seen here, the wording is unique to any I have found and the date on this says
    since 1869 and others say 1870.
    It also has a unique back ground pattern, not seen in others.
    This sign was a wall patch for the 1800's building it resided,
    originally a church turned grain and hardware store, it
    advertised for.
    I carefully removed this from the structure, removing nails from 15 holes
    found on the outside edges and all damage is
    outlined in picture and description.
