2014 Intense Phenom Pro XL 20" BMX Racing Bike Blue/Silver
Up for grabs is a 2014 Intense Phenom Pro XL complete BMX rig, minus the pedals. I picked up the frame in 2014 when Intense was closing the door on BMX production. To bad too as it is an awesome frame. I built the bike from a need to satisfy my inner child since my mid-80s Redline PL-20 was stolen when I was a kid. My buddy's kids were getting into BMX so I thought it'd be fun go along. However, I road my Redline Proline 24" while I built the Phenom. As such, the Phenom only saw the track once for practice before the "team" split. I have 2 BMX cruisers for spinning around and don't need a racing machine. If you are already racing then you know know pedal requirements for racing. For those that are just starting, I think you have to use platform pedals at novice and intermediate classification. You can switch to clipless once you gain expert rank. Consult your local racing organization rules prior to heading to the track. I have kept the bike in excellent condition, kept inside, never left outside. If I hadn't included its history you would swear it was right off the showroom floor. No ding or scratches with exception of install marks on bottom bracket and a couple of scuffs. Very clean.
Intense Phenom XL (original factory description)
The Intense Phenom frames are state of the art when it comes to BMX frames. The Phenom features the first tapered steer tube in BMX with a 1-1/8" to 1 1/2" on the Pro size frames and larger.  The Pro frames are designed to work seamlessly with the New SINZ Elite Monocoque Carbon fork or any 1-1/8" fork.  This will require a 1 1/8" to 1-1/2" step down headset offered by ACS or SINZ.
