This is a heavy duty precision Steelex 10" diameter x 4-Jaw Independent Metal Lathe Chuck with a plain back. This beautiful chuck has the following specifications:
Body is 9.84" (250mm) in diameter x 3-3/16" (81mm) thick (jaws project 1-3/8" out from body)
The thru hole is 2.56" (65mm) in diameter
Includes (4) Reversible jaws, large chuck key, & (4) M12 mounting bolts
Smallest diameter gripped by jaws = .591" (15mm)
Largest diameter gripped by jaws = 9.843" (250mm)
Radial run-out of test piece in jaws = .0002" (.005mm)
Radial run-out of chuck body = .0024" (.06mm)
This is a plain back chuck, but it has (4) 12mm holes on the outer ring in a 120mm dia bolt hole circle...positioned 90 degrees apart.
