Zircut Crown cutter
Application:
Rotary instrument for cutting/removing crowns and bridges made of zirconia or full-ceramic such as lithium disilicate. To be used in  straight handpiece.
Mode of application:
For reprocessing (cleaning, disinfection and sterilization) see the separate instructions for reprocessing. For best results please observe the recommended speeds of 15.000 to 25.000 rpm at all times. Instrument must be rotating at desired speed before making contact with teeth. As the disc diameter exceeds 3.1 mm we recommend increasing the water cooling to a minimum of 150 ml/min. Excessive heat may cause damage to the dental pulp. Using instruments as a lever, jamming and high temperatures must be avoided (risk of fracture). Contact pressure and speed depend on the tooth hardness and the handpiece. Contact pressure and speed are inversely related, i.e. the higher the speed the lower the pressure. Once crown/bridge structures are cut app. 50% the structures can be removed by cracking the crown. Only use within the limits of the instructions for use. Please observe the instructions for use and recommendations of the handpiece or turbine manufacturer.
Quality:
Even 2-layer coating using natural diamonds. Working part and shank gold-coated. Blanks turned according to ISO standard using corrosion-resistant medical-grade steel. Based on experience app. 15-25 crown applications are possible.
