    ANTIQUE BAER'S GOLD LEAF PAINT SIZE 40 ADVERTISING TIN WITH PAPER LABEL
    This is an antique advertising paint tin with a paper label that dates to around the 1920's probably. Tin's wrap-around label advertises for Baer's Klondike Size 40 Gold Leaf Paint The Liquid Gold Leaf No. 950 from the Baer Brothers company out of New York. Label has two bears pictured on the sides and the motto at the top "The Paint with the Two Bears 'It Wears' ". Top opening handle is marked by maker "James Bradford Company Wilmington, Del.". Tin is in great condition overall for its' age with just some natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures 3 3/8 “ tall. Wonderful old Baers Klondike Gold Paint tin would be a great find for your collection. This gold leaf paint belong to my Dad he was a bookbinder and he use this gold on his books.
    I believe this is still good paint and can be used.
