It is strongly recommended that your bike be built/put together by a pro bike tech at a bike shop. Note: every bike will be packed slightly differently based on the shape/specs of the bike, thus requiring different amounts of skill level to reassemble. Always take pictures of the bike in the box before removing it from the box whether there is box damage or not. Any problems with bikes that have been shipped will need to be addressed by an independent bike shop; whether it is possible damage from shipping or some other reason. If the bike has been damaged in shipping, we will need to file an insurance claim with the carrier. This claim will need to be accompanied with a bike shop’s invoice for repairs of the damages incurred in shipping. Note: The Extra Mile is a bike shop and will work with your local bike shop to resolve any problems with the bike and get you rolling.
