    Description

    This is a vintage 1950-1960 store display sign from the paint department in a hardware store.  This display item was retrieved from the Stark Service & Hardware Store.  They were in business for almost 70 years and closed in 2018.  This 'GAY COLORS' sign was stuck inside an empty paint can that was suspended from the ceiling. The sign is made of thicker cardboard and measures 11" wide and 10" tall.  Minor signs of wear, but nothing that detracts.  Shows a robin chirping about the 'GAY COLORS' that were available for purchase. Guaranteed to be antique and original as described.  Buyer to pay shipping costs.  I also have a similar advertising sign that reads 'BRIGHT COLORS' on another eBay auction.
